Early College High School (ECHS)

  • Academics and Achievements:
    • ECHS has 38 industry partners.
    • In 10 years, nearly 50 students have earned an Associate Degree at ECHS.
    • 2024 seniors earned a total of 1,448 college credits at ECHS.
    • 109 seniors are participating in internship programs.
    • 92% of the 2023 graduating class enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Student Recognitions:
    • In 2024, 3 students received the National Rural and Small Town Award (NRSTA).
    • In 2023, 1 student was a National Merit Scholarship finalist.
    • In 2024, 1 student was a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student.
    • In 2024, 1 student received a National African American Recognition Award (NAARA).
  • STEM
    • Of all the public school districts in Ohio, MEVSD is one of only 14 districts with a high school dedicated strictly to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects.
    • The Early College High School is the resident site of the Ohio STEM Learning Network.

Marysville High School (MHS)

  • Academic Societies and Programs:
    • National Art Honor Society established in 2020.
    • National Spanish Honor Society established in 2023.
    • Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society established.
    • First MHS students on track to graduate in 2025 with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
  • Agriculture and Performing Arts:
    • FFA Program chosen Top 10 in the United States in 2023 and 2024.
    • 40 Agriculture interns in 2023-24 aligned with partners in business and industry.
    • Performing arts include:
      • Dinner Theater for the community
      • Wintersongs Community Concert
  • Student Scholarships:
    • 2024 graduates to date have accepted almost $2.5 million in scholarships.

Extracurriculars

  • MEVSD offers 27 varsity sports.
  • Over 50 student clubs and organizations provide socialization and peer support.
  • Marysville Show Choir has won over 50 Grand Champion awards.
  • Marysville Marching Band has won 12 consecutive Superior ratings.
  • Homeschooled students can participate in all extracurricular activities.
  • MEVSD added Japanese as a language in 2013. As of 2023 only 11 districts and 22 schools offer Japanese as a course. A total of 1,157 students were enrolled statewide. For the 2024-2025 school year, MEVSD will have 213 students enrolled.
  • MEVSD girls wrestling started in 2020. The OHSWCA (Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association) sponsored the state girls wrestling tournament from 2020 to 2022. The OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) approved girls wrestling as an official sport for the 2022-2023 school year.
